Our rangatira have gone rock climbing & bush survival in Birkenhead for being models of our vision to Kia pai taea tatou - Be the best they can in learning, attitude and behaviour this term.
We were thrilled to learn new technical vocabulary, experience the great outdoors, be physically challenged and demonstrate the value of whanaungatanga by working as a team.
The experience was one we know our rangatira will remember for a lifetime and we are so grateful to the team at the Birkenhead leisure centre for both sharing their manaakitanga (hospitality) & matauranga (knowledge) with us. As we were engaged, excited and exhausted from the exciting excursion.
