Chelsea Sugar Factory

Our trip to Chelsea Sugar Factory was an absolute 'treat'.

We were able to learn so much about the manufacturing, history & management of this amazing place.

The experience and trip will be one we remember always & the manaakitanga extended to us from the staff was beautiful.

There was an interactive room, a tour of the factory & the Edmonds bake house where we were so engaged in learning, activities and the sharing of information.

Wharekai & Mara

We are so happy to be back in our wharekai & mara planting, harvesting, preparing and eating healthy kai. Lucky Yendarra to be supported by so many wonderful volunteers especially Mrs Powell who offers both her time and expertise for our benefit.

The learning we have gained will support us through our life time and we hope to teach the skills we have learnt in our kitchen and garden to others we meet especially our families.
